About the piece
Surah Ar-Rahman, Ayah 37, in the Quran states: "And when the heaven is split open and becomes [burning] rose-colored like oil..." (Surah Ar-Rahman 55:37) The painting reflect the imagery described in this verse. The large, central flower resembles a blooming rose, which can be seen as a visual metaphor for the heavens splitting open and taking on a fiery, rose-like form. The swirling colors within the petals, vibrant reds, pinks, purples, and yellows, evoke a sense of something divine and powerful unfolding, much like the cosmic event described in the Ayah.
About the artist

Narmin Allahwala
Karachi, PK
My work is more than an arrangement of colours; it is a direct translation of the emotions, experiences, and moments that have defined my life’s journey. I do not view my paintings as mere objects, but as extensions of my own spirit, a way to give form to feelings that words often fail to capture. I believe that art has the power to fundamentally alter the energy of a room. Each signature piece is designed to bring a distinctive character and a sense of sophisticated texture to your space.
